Police Recover Suspected Stolen Power Tools

Police have recovered suspected stolen power tools and are hoping to return them to their rightful owners.

They were found in a van in the Lutterworth area, which was believed to be involved in criminality.

Pictures of some of the tools, including drills and cutters, have been released in a bid to find who they belong to.

A spokesperson for Leicestershire Police said: “During routine enquiries officers came across a van which was believed to be involved in criminality and recovered a number of tools including those pictured.

“Anyone who recognises the items or believe they belong to them is asked to contact DC 1097 Daniel Thorpe on 101 or via www.leics.police.uk , quoting crime number 23*628021 – potential owners must be able to provide proof of ownership.”
