Market Harborough Unites To Congratulate In Bloom Team

Market Harborough’s In Bloom volunteers are being congratulated after winning the East Midlands In Bloom competition for the second year running.
The dedicated team won a gold award as they were crowned winners of the Large Town category of the contest once again.
Dozens of people have congratulated the team on HFM’s Facebook page after the results were announced yesterday.
Barbara Johnson, Chairman of Harborough District Council, accompanied the judges when they toured town in July and told HFM the win was well-deserved:

The In Bloom team also won a Judges Award for floral displays at the railway station, Ridgeway Primary Academy won the Best Ornamental Garden award, while J Stamp & Sons funeral directors won the Best Retail/Commercial Award for displays outside their base on Kettering Road.

Market Harborough In Bloom is also competing in the 2023 Britain In Bloom competition, after last year’s East Midlands In Bloom win.
The results will be announced next month.
