Market Harborough Wins East Midlands In Bloom For Second Year Running

Market Harborough has won the East Midlands In Bloom competition for the second year running.
The town’s In Bloom volunteers were handed a gold award and crowned winners of the Large Town category of the contest at the results ceremony in Lincolnshire this afternoon.
The big win follows the visit of competition judges in July.
Barbara Tallis heads up the Market Harborough In Bloom and spoke to HFM after the announcement was made:

There was more good news for the town with additional awards handed to Ridgeway Primary School, who won Best Ornamental Garden and a Silver Award.
J Stamp & Sons funeral directors won the Best Retail/Commercial Award for floral displays outside their base on Kettering Road and a Judges Award was handed to the In Bloom team for floral displays at Market Harborough Railway Station.
