Firefighters Conquer Ben Nevis In Full Fire Kit

A team of firefighters from Kibworth are celebrating conquering the tallest mountain in the UK wearing their full fire kit weighing 25kg.
They scaled Ben Nevis on to raise money for the Fire Fighters Charity and The Well Community Hub in the village and completed the challenge on Saturday in seven-and-a-half-hours.
The team set a sponsorship target of £1,345 – one pound for each metre climbed from the base to the summit of the UK’s highest mountain – but have beaten that and the total now stands at over £2,200.
