Drivers Warned To Expect Delays On A6 This Weekend

Drivers are being warned to expect delays on the A6 through Kibworth this weekend.
Four-way temporary traffic lights will be in place at the Church Road/Marsh Drive junctions, from 8am tomorrow until 5pm on Sunday, while Severn Trent Water carry out work.
The work was initially scheduled for last month and the firm was criticised for putting signals in place for two days, when no workers turned up.
Leicestershire County Council is considering fining Severn Trent after the mishap, blamed on a ‘scheduling error’.
