Firefighters Tackle Blaze At Lutterworth Pub

Firefighters have been tackling a blaze at a historic pub in Lutterworth.
The thatched roof of The Shambles in Bell Street was well alight when crews arrived at lunchtime.

Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service received numerous 999 calls just after 12.30pm.
Eight fire appliances from Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Warwickshire attended the incident.
Nobody was injured, although one person has been treated for smoke inhalation.
Bell Street remains closed to traffic and an investigation into the cause of the fire has been launched.
