Appeal After Pedestrian Seriously Injured In Market Harborough

A pedestrian has suffered serious injuries after being struck by a car in Market Harborough.

The woman aged in her 30s was taken to hospital by air ambulance, following the collision on Farndon Road, near the junction with Western Avenue, just after 2.45pm yesterday.

Leicestershire Police say enquiries to establish the full circumstances of the collision are on-going and officers are appealing for witnesses who have not spoken with them to get in touch.

Anyone who has any dashcam footage from the area at the time of the collision or any information should call 101, quoting incident 323 of 9 January.

The road was closed until just before 8.30pm, while collision investigation work was carried out.
