Judge Considers Evidence As Leicester’s Hospitals Challenge Harborough District Council

A High Court judge has gone away to consider evidence after hearing from legal teams representing Leicester’s Hospitals and Harborough District Council.
The NHS Trust took the authority to a Judicial Review, arguing it should be given money to cover additional costs on hospital services it says occupants of over 2,500 new homes near Lutterworth will bring.
Its request for £1m in developer payments from the Lutterworth East scheme was rejected by the Council.
A judgement following the two-day hearing in London will be made at a later date.
