Second Water Leak Hampers Repair Work On Northampton Road

A second water leak has further delayed repairs to a burst pipe on Northampton Road in Market Harborough.
Severn Trent Water say engineers arrived to carry them out last night, but were then redeployed to a leak on Braybrooke Road in Little Bowden, which was deemed a higher priority.
Work to repair that burst pipe is continuing, but the company says workers are due to return to Northampton Road this evening to complete the repair.
The leak at the Caxton Street junction has been on-going for a week and temporary traffic lights remain in place.
