Woman Charged With Drink Driving After Crash Near Desborough

A woman has been charged with drink driving after a crash near Desborough yesterday.
Emergency services were called after two vehicles were involved in collision at the bridge on Desborough Road, Rushton, just after 5.30pm.
The collision demolished part of the wall of the bridge.

Aida Lai, 35, of Sandlands Avenue, Brigstock, has been charged with driving while over the prescribed limit of alcohol and is due to appear at Northampton Magistrates’ Court next month.
It is understood no-one was seriously injured in the crash.
