Police Patrols Stepped Up In & Around Market Harborough For Halloween

Police patrols will be stepped up in and around Market Harborough this evening for Halloween.
Officers say the vast majority of people who go out ‘trick or treating’ will be well behaved, but a minority could use the occasion to get involved in anti-social behaviour.
People going door-to-door are being urged to respect the wishes of those who don’t want to be called on, some of whom will display ‘No Thanks’ posters, which have been produced by Leicestershire Police.
Shops have also been encouraged not to sell eggs and flour to those who could use them to throw at houses or people.
