Sainsbury’s say a problem with heating at its store in Market Harborough has now been fixed.
Customers had been complaining about how cold it was and also expressed concern for staff working in the conditions.
One person who contacted the supermarket said: “Your Market Harborough store has had zero heating for weeks – it was warmer outside! Unfit conditions for staff and lots of customers complaining in store. When will this be sorted?”
A Sainsbury’s spokesperson told HFM: “Due to a boiler issue, our Market Harborough Superstore has been slightly colder than usual.
“We are pleased to update that this issue has now been fixed and we would like to thank colleagues and customers for their patience.”
