Villagers Vote ‘Yes’ In Neighbourhood Plan Referendums

Villagers in East Langton have voted overwhelmingly to adopt an updated Neighbourhood Plan.
154 residents voted in favour of it at a referendum yesterday, with just four opposed to the review of the document, which includes setting out where new housing development can happen in the village.
The turnout was 49%.
Some amendments had been made to the plan, which was first adopted in 2018.

East Langton
Villagers in Tugby & Keythorpe also voted to adopt their Neighbourhood Plan yesterday, with 88 voting in favour and 15 against.
The turnout 36.5%.
