Written by HFM News on 25th October 2022
More people who have fled the war in Ukraine are now staying with families across the Harborough District.
Latest government figures show 224 refugees have been taken in by people living here and a further 56 have been granted visas, meaning they are due to arrive soon.
The district continues to lead the way as being the most generous in Leicestershire when it comes to taking in people from Ukraine, with more staying here than in other part of the county.
