Detailed plans for 300 more houses on a new estate on the edge of Market Harborough could be approved next week.
The proposal forms phases three and five of Overstone Park off Kettering Road at Clack Hill and includes a mix of one to five bedroom homes and bungalows.
Councillors are being recommended to grant planning permission to Davidsons Developments, who were given outline consent for 600 houses on the site stretching towards Braybrooke a few years ago.

Work on the first part of the estate began last year and included the construction of a new roundabout on the A6 at the Kettering Road junction.
Once complete it will also include a primary school.
A report to next week’s planning committee reads: “The proposal development delivers extensive landscaped open spaces, appropriate housing mix, including affordable housing, a range of high-quality character areas that provide way markers for residents on a large-scale residential development scheme and, as such, an enhanced environment to live and play.
“The proposal has resolved all technical matters in particular highways. It is therefore acceptable in terms of layout, scale, appearance and landscaping and accords with local and national planning policies.”
