Views are being invited on plans to turn farmland north of Market
Harborough into dedicated dog exercising areas.
An application to create two ‘dog paddocks’ in fields at East Langton
has been submitted to Harborough District Council.
The proposal is for two fenced-off areas of land east of the B6047
Melton Road, opposite Rutland Veterinary Centre, along with associated
car parking.
Applicant Samuel Harding and Sons says the new facility would provide
owners with a place ‘within the open countryside to walk or train their
dogs off the lead without any concerns for safety’.
Comments are being welcomed via the Council’s planning portal up until
Monday 3rd October.
