Community Fridge Launched

Market Harborough’s first ever ‘Community Fridge’ has launched as part
of a new initiative to reduce food waste.

Located at the Eco Village on St Mary’s Road, people can take along
items from their own fridges, which for whatever reason they won’t use.

The only stipulation is they have to be in-date and sealed.

Others can then help themselves to what’s available, just so long as
they can make use of it, regardless of whether they’re struggling
financially or not.
