Harborough Charity Issues Urgent Appeal For New Storage Space
Written by HFM News on 31st August 2022
A charity providing vital support to people struggling to afford basic hygiene products is urgently seeking new storage space in Market Harborough.
The Hygiene Bank has had to vacate a garage it has used for free since launching in 2020, after being given just two weeks’ notice.
It now needs alternative space, ideally for no charge, to store hygiene products which are donated and then given to in-need individuals and families.
Demand for the service has been increasing and is set to rise further as the cost of living crisis continues.
Judy Rowley, the co-ordinator of the group, spoke to HFM:
If you can help with new storage space, email thbharborough@gmail.com or call Judy on 07958 059 440.
