Volunteers Prepare To Brighten Up Railway Station

An area at Market Harborough Railway Station will soon be brightened up thanks to the work of the town’s In Bloom team.

Volunteers are busy preparing the ground behind the southbound platform, ahead of the installation of planted-up luggage trolleys.

They were previously used by Market Harborough In Bloom for displays, but disappeared during the station upgrade a few years ago, before being found and restored.

A number of the group’s volunteers have become ‘Station Adopters’ to help look after displays, which will return as soon as a water supply is provided.
