Tree Collapse Blocks A6 In Kibworth
Written by HFM News on 9th August 2022
Part of a large tree blocked the A6 in Kibworth after it fell onto the carriageway.
Luckily it did not strike any vehicles or pedestrians, but partially blocked Harborough Road.
Police were called just before midday today and closed the road for a time, to allow Leicestershire County Council highway teams to remove the debris.
The dry conditions are thought to have weakened the branch of the Poplar tree, in a private garden, causing it to collapse.
