Village Post Office To Close For Refurbishment

Villagers in Great Easton are to lose their Post Office for a month while it undergoes a major refurbishment. 

The High Street shop will close at midday on Saturday, with people asked to use alternative Post Office services in Medbourne or Corby, until the branch re-opens on September 1st.

Anne Murphy from the Post Office network said: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused to our customers during the work.

“The safety of our customers is of paramount, therefore, to allow for the building work to take place, it will be necessary for the service to close temporarily.”
