A motorcyclist on a riding lesson was injured after a crash in Great Oxendon.
Emergency services were called to the A508 Harborough Road at 10.45am on Saturday, after the bike left the road and came to rest in a tree.
A fire crew from Desborough attended the incident, at the junction with Main Street, to help get the female rider to safety, so she could be treated by ambulance crews.
A spokesperson for Northamptonshire Police told HFM: “It would appear that during a riding lesson, the female rider has collided with a hedge and her and the motorcycle have come to rest up a tree.
“Fortunately she was not seriously injured and was taken to Northampton General Hospital as a precaution.”
No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
