Market Harborough Firm To Mark World Refill Day

A Market Harborough company is hosting an event to mark World Refill Day and is encouraging others to get involved.
Welcomm Communications has launched its own sustainability action plan, as it strives to do more to tackle environmental challenges.
On Thursday, the firm will team-up with Harborough-based Refill Revolution, to help spread the word about what it is doing and simple ways of becoming more sustainable.
The event will feature ‘Rita – the refill roadster’, which demonstrates how easy it is to do a ‘zero waste’ shop, by refilling empty jars, tubs and containers with everyday items.

Thursday’s event is on between 12pm and 2pm outside Welcomm’s base on The Point Business Park, off Rockingham Road.
