Leicestershire County Council has pledged to look into the concerns.

“Limited funds mean that any work undertaken must be for safety reasons
“Our officers will now inspect the locations and complete any necessary work.”

The call for action comes as a plan detailing a raft of improvements to Market Harborough town centre has been approved by the District Council’s Cabinet.
The Master Plan will now go before the full council at a meeting later this month, where it is expected to be given the final go-ahead.
Environmental enhancements to St Mary’s Road is one aspect of the plan.
