Hygiene Bank Launches Urgent Appeal As Demand For Help Increases

Written by on 30th May 2022

The cost of living crisis has led to more and more people turning to Market Harborough’s Hygiene Bank for help.

The charity provides those in need with everyday items like deodorant, shampoo and toothpaste and says demand has increased dramatically in the past few weeks.

There has also been a drop in donations, which are vital for the voluntary service to continue, prompting an urgent appeal for help.

The Hygiene Bank works with 13 partner organisations to distribute items and provided 41 bags of supplies to help people last week.
