Travellers Set Up in Market Harborough Car Park

A group of travellers have moved onto an area of a car park in Market Harborough town centre.
Two caravans and other vehicles arrived yesterday in the far corner of the Commons car park off Coventry Road.

Harborough District Council say the group have been spoken to by Leicestershire’s Multi-Agency Travellers Unit and are set to leave later today or tomorrow, to make their way south to attend a funeral.
The Council added they been provided with waste bags, which will be collected by its contractors.
