Amazing Response To Kibworth’s Easter Egg Appeal
Written by HFM News on 11th April 2022
Over 700 Easter eggs have been donated in Kibworth to help bring Easter cheer to youngsters in hospital and from disadvantaged families.
There has been an amazing response to the appeal for the Children’s Ward at Leicester Royal Infirmary and those supported by the village Foodbank, run by The Well community hub.

Individuals, businesses and students from Kibworth Mead Academy have all shown their support.
The appeal was launched last month by Derek Ward, owner of the O Hairdressing Salon and Sam Shields, landlady at the Railway Arms pub, who both spoke to Hfm:

The eggs will be delivered to the hospital and Foodbank on Thursday, so there is still time to donate one at O Hairdressing Salon and the Railway Arms.
