Harborough Firms Encourged To Sign ‘Well-being At Work Charter’
Written by HFM News on 3rd February 2022
Businesses across Harborough are being urged to commit to improving the well-being of their workforce.
The District Council has just signed the Well-being at Work Charter and wants other employers to do the same.
Firms who make the pledge can access a range of free resources to help them promote good mental health and encourage physical activity.
It highlights the importance of supporting people with long-term health conditions, by encouraging a workforce culture that values employee health and well-being.

Cllr Simon Whelband signing the pledge
Cllr Simon Whelband, Harborough District Council’s Cabinet lead on wellbeing and communities, who this week signed the pledge on behalf of the Council, said: “We believe that physical and mental wellbeing is really important and our Active Together team works hard with our community to promote this message and support our staff to stay fit and healthy; this has been especially important during the pandemic, with a renewed appetite for physical, social and mental wellbeing.”
