Appeal After Burglars Target Desborough Butchers Shop

Burglars have stolen meat worth over £3,000 from a butchers shop in Desborough.
They forced their way into the K P Wolfenden shop on Station Road between 5am and 5.30am yesterday, stealing virtually all the stock.
Some personal items belonging to the owner were also stolen by the intruders, who forced the shop’s back door out of its frame to get in.
The shop had to close yesterday, but has re-opened today.
Police are appealing for witnesses and information.
