New Plans To Re-Develop Former Factory Site In Great Glen

New plans have been announced to redevelop an empty workshop site in Great Glen – including building a new Co-Op store.
Eight houses and six flats are planned for the former Thorpes Joinery base on Church Road, which would be demolished along with the existing Co-Op, if given the go-ahead.
A bigger car park is also included in the proposal, which has been submitted to Harborough District Council for consideration.
The factory site has stood empty since 2019, when Thorpes relocated to Market Harborough.
