MP Backs Fight Against New Homes
Written by HFM News on 18th January 2022
An MP has voiced his opposition against any new homes between East Farndon and Market Harborough.
It emerged last year up to 2,000 could potentially be built between the two communities in the future.
Chris Heaton-Harris, the member of Parliament for the Daventry constituency, of which East Farndon is part of, has backed the Parish Council in its objections.
He visited the village at the weekend to meet parish councillors and view the area in question.
A spokesperson for the Parish Council said: “Chris Heaton-Harris has confirmed his 100% support for the objections to these developments and will do everything he can to support us in preventing these plans from going ahead.”
