HFM has been awarded a five-year licence extension.

Regulator OFCOM has granted permission for the radio station to continue broadcasting until at least February 2027.

The announcement comes ahead of the HFM celebrating 15 years on-air next month, after launching full-time in 2007.

Programme Controller Chris Jones says it is great news:

It is the third time HFM has secured an extension to its licence, awarded in five-year periods.
