Phone Lines Brought Down After B6047 Crash

Work is underway to repair phone cables after a car crashed into a telegraph pole near Tilton on the Hill this morning.
The collision brought down cables at the side of the B6047 Melton Road.
Police say the 22-year-old female driver of the Fiat 500 suffered minor injuries, but did not require medical treatment.
The crash happened in thick fog at around 8.30am and no other vehicles were involved.
BT Openreach engineers are carrying out repairs.
