Go-Ahead For CCTV At Little Bowden Rec

The go-ahead has been given for new CCTV to be installed at Little Bowden Recreation Ground in a bid to combat anti-social behaviour.
Harborough District Council last night approved the siting of the camera on a six-metre high post near the children’s play area.
Once installed footage will be monitored at the town’s CCTV control room.
The council agreed to install the camera after incidents of anti-social behaviour at the park earlier this year, which prompted residents to meet Police and officials from the authority.
It is not yet known when it will be installed.
Police and council officials met concerned residents earlier this year.
