Harborough Firefighters Help Tackle Blaze At Walkers Factory

Firefighters from Market Harborough have been helping to deal with a major fire at the Walkers Crisp factory in Leicester.

They were among crews from nine fire stations sent to tackle the blaze in the roof of the base in Beaumont Leys this morning.

Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service say that has now been reduced to four.

A Welfare Unit from Kibworth Fire Station is also at the scene.

Staff were evacuated and nobody was injured.
