Over 50,000 Covid-19 vaccinations have now been given at Market Harborough Medical Centre.

23,964 people have had one vaccine, 22,473 both doses and 5,075 booster jabs have been given so far.

Vaccination clinics have been taking place at the Coventry Road surgery since last December.

Together with winter flu vaccines over 60,000 jabs have been given at the practice this year  – usually they would administer around 15,000 in a year.

Volunteers from the Harborough 2012 Lions Club have helped with car park marshalling during the vaccination clinics and continue to do so.

Across the Harborough District 145,839 jabs have been given; 75,410 people have received a first dose and 70,429 two doses.

86.9% of the population aged 12 and over across Harborough have now had one jab and 81.1% have had two doses.
