Autumn Market Opens In Market Harborough

Written by on 5th November 2021

An Autumn Market is on in Market Harborough for the next three days.

The event on The Square, organised by Zoom Events, in partnership with Harborough District Council, includes international street cuisine as well as arts, crafts, clothing and jewellery traders.

Cllr Phil King, Leader of Harborough District Council, said: “This is yet another exciting event in the district, adding to the diversity of markets we’ve recently hosted.

“All the signs are that our events are helping to attract back visitors and residents into our town centres. Not only will visitors be able to sample the delights of the market, they will importantly visit other local shops and hospitality outlets, as they continue to grow back from the effects of the pandemic.”

Paul Kennedy, Director of Zoom Events, said: “We are looking forward to returning to Market Harborough with a strong line up of stalls which will add extra colour and character to the centre of town. It’s fantastic that we can hold the market again following the successful vaccination rollout after a difficult 18 months.”

The Market Harborough Autumn Market will be open on Friday 5 November from 11am – 6pm, Saturday 6 November 9am – 6pm and Sunday 7 November 10am – 5pm.
