Cruel Thieves Steal Pumpkins Grown By Harborough Youngsters
Written by HFM News on 12th October 2021
Pumpkins grown by youngsters in Market Harborough have been stolen.
Members of the Market Harborough Rangers girl-guiding group had been watering them daily for the past few weeks, after watching them grow from seeds to the size of footballs.
They were taken from the group’s vegetable patch at the back of the Methodist Church on Northampton Road sometime last week.
Leaders say the theft has left the girls devastated, as they were due to use the two pumpkins for Halloween-related activities.
