Use Of Snapchat By Police Proves Big Success

The use of Snapchat by Harborough Police has been so successful it is to be rolled out across Leicestershire.
Neighbourhood officers start using the photo and video sharing platform earlier this year to get messages to thousands of young people, after problems with anti-social behaviour in parks.
It’s believed they were the first Police officers in the country to use Snapchat, which is more popular among young people than Facebook and Twitter, and a similar campaign is planned ahead of Halloween, in relation to trick or treating.
