Harborough’s Arts Fresco To Return As Virtual Event

Written by on 22nd September 2021

Market Harborough’s Arts Fresco is returning as a virtual event again this year although if you’re in town centre this Saturday you might catch a glimpse of the wacky acts.

Organisers of the free street arts festival took the decision to go for an on-line event, like last year, because of uncertainty surrounding Covid restrictions, as planning began five months ago.

However, filming will take on Saturday with three acts from some of Britain’s leading festival and street theatre companies taking to the streets.

They will form part of the virtual event which will be streamed on YouTube on Sunday October 10th.

Arts Fresco is set to be back to normal in 2022, with plans to make it extra special, as it will be the event’s 20th anniversary.

Neil Kitson, Chair of the volunteer organising committee, spoke to Hfm:

Act ‘Markmark’ will feature in this year’s virtual festival

The sponsors of Arts Fresco include: Harborough Twenty12 Lions Club, Rotary Club of Market Harborough, Neil Kitson and Duncan Murray Wines.
