Man Who Dumped Leaflets At Roadside Fined £400

A man who dumped leaflets he was employed to deliver has been fined £400 by Harborough District Council.
He was spotted by a member of the public discarding them off Lubenham Hill in Market Harborough and an investigation, supported by the company named on the leaflets, tracked him down.
The man, aged in his 60s from Milton Keynes, admitted flytipping when questioned by Council officers, following the incident in June and was handed a fixed penalty notice.
The company then terminated his employment.
The Council has thanked the witness and the firm for helping with its investigation.
