Harborough Teenagers Celebrate Good GCSE Results
Written by HFM News on 12th August 2021
Teenagers across the Hfm region are celebrating good GCSE results today.
There were celebrations at Robert Smyth Academy and Welland Park Academy in Market Harborough and Kibworth Mead Academy, as students found out what grades they achieved.
No exams were held because of the pandemic, so results were based on teacher assessments.
Pupils also had to learn from home during periods of lockdown, as schools were closed.
Welland Park Academy students Hayleigh Turner and Corin Willcocks, both aged 16, achieved the grades they needed to go onto sixth form colleges.
They both spoke to Hfm:
Christopher, Hayley, Rhianna and Maisie at Welland Park Academy.
