Ten Suspected Illegal Immigrants Found In Lorry At Magna Park

Ten suspected illegal immigrants have been found in the back of a lorry at Magna Park in Lutterworth.

Police were alerted yesterday afternoon and detained the group on suspicion of immigration offences.

They were discovered after the lorry, which was carrying chemicals, arrived at a unit on the business park.

Leicestershire Police say the people remain in custody while officers liaise with Home Office immigration officials.
