Fire Crews Unite For Cross-Border Training Exercise

Written by on 5th July 2021

Fire crews from Market Harborough teamed up with colleagues from Northamptonshire for a training exercise on Saturday.

They used the Welland Place retirement complex on St Mary’s Road to practice how they would respond to a fire within a high-rise building.

The cross-border training session was to strengthen the working relationship between the crews, who often work together at fire calls either side of the county borders.

Firefighters from Desborough and Rothwell joined the Harborough crews at the event.
