Woman Injured In Crash Near Newton Harcourt

A woman was taken to hospital after a three-car crash near Newton Harcourt this afternoon.

Police and fire crews were called to Newton Lane at 12.50pm.

A spokesperson for Leicestershire Police said: “One woman was taken to Leicester Royal Infirmary with minor injuries.

“The road was closed while officers and Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service attended.

“The cars were recovered and the road reopened around 3.30pm.”
