Leicestershire’s Director of Public Health says he would be ‘fully behind’ any delay to easing Coronavirus restrictions.
A government source says Boris Johnson will pause the complete lifting of lockdown restrictions in England by four weeks, when he makes an announcement later today.
The Prime Minister’s expected to say that so-called “freedom day” – due next Monday – will be postponed because of a rise in coronavirus cases.
