Booking System At Tips To Be Reviewed

A booking system at tips across Harborough will be reviewed when social distancing guidelines are updated.

It was introduced during Covid-19 lockdowns last year, meaning people have to make an appointment to visit waste and recycling sites across the county, including in Market Harborough, Kibworth and Lutterworth

District Councillor Phil Knowles told Hfm he would like to see the restrictions removed as soon as possible:

A spokesperson for Leicestershire County Council said: “We have three recycling and household waste sites in Harborough all open five days a week across seven days. We will review the use of the booking system, in accordance with social distancing guidance as it is updated.”
