Cyclist Airlifted To Hospital After Crash In Kilby

A female cyclist was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after a crash in a Harborough village yesterday afternoon.
Two bikes were involved in collision with a van on Main Street in Kilby just after 4.30pm.
The woman was taken to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire by Air Ambulance, although Police say her injuries are not life threatening or life-changing.
A man, who was on the other bike, sustained minor injuries and the driver of the white panel van was not hurt.
The road was closed for several hours while a Police investigation was carried out and re-opened just before 9.30pm.
