Stolen Dog ‘Purdey’ Found Safe & Well

A beloved pet dog has been found safe and well after being stolen from near Billesdon over three months ago.

Purdey, a female black Labrador, was reunited with her ecstatic owner yesterday.

She had been left devastated after the dog, which had helped her to recover from cancer by giving her ‘purpose’ and ‘something to focus on.’ was stolen overnight between the 18th and 19th February.

Purdey was located in Lincolnshire following a massive campaign to find her, including banners being put up and appeals on social media, which were shared thousands of times.

Purdey’s owner is thanking all who have been involved in the campaign and everyone who shared the appeal.
