Fears Grow For Future Of Two Harborough Shops

The future of Market Harborough’s Peacocks and Edinburgh Woollen Mill stores is in doubt after ‘closing down sale’ posters went up.
The owner of the national clothing retailers announced on Friday it plans to appoint administrators in an attempt to save the business.

Around 12 people employed across the Harborough stores and are among 21,000 nationwide at risk of losing their job,s amid what the company described as “brutal” trading conditions.
Despite the posters going up, Edinburgh Woollen Mill Group have yet to confirm which stores will close.
